Miso glazed trout
I’m running a cleanse this week. I’ll start tomorrow today I’m enjoying one of my favourite fish dishes. Double the miso topping for two and so on.
Ingredients
1 piece ocean trout
1 teaspoon miso I prefer lighter miso it’s not so salty
1 teaspoon orange marmalade
1 teaspoon Bragg’s seasoning or low salt soy
Few drops sesame oil
Few drops of water to bring it all together
Method
Preheat oven to 220C with the grill on.
Put the trout on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Mix together the miso, marmalade, seasoning sauce, sesame oil and water to form a thick sauce consistency.
Spoon over trout.
Cook for a bit less than I did mine is a bit sunburnt. About 15-20 minutes depends on how hot your oven is. You want a bit of char on it.
Serve with leafy greens and zesty dressing or whatever the heck you feel like.
